Sewer User Rates

Sewer User Rates
Effective January 1, 2010, the sewer user rates are as follows:

Fixed Meter Fee: 
This is charged based on the size of water meter being used.  Most homes have a 5/8" meter.

5/8”                            $17.30
¾”                              $21.20
1”                                $29.00
1 ¼”                           $36.80
1 ½”                           $48.50
2”                                $71.90
3”                                $126.50
4”                                $204.50
6”                                $399.50
8”                                $633.50


User Fee:

$3.19 per 100 cubic feet of water used.


Sewer user bills are issued every4 months (3 times per year), and are listed on your water bill. 
Sewer bills are based on total consumption of water plus the fixed meter fee.



Sample sewer bill calculation:

You have a 5/8 " water meter..................................................$17.30

You used 1500 Cubic feet of water
(15 x $3.19 = $47.85)............................................................$47.85
                                                                                                                              $65.15

Please keep in mind that 100 cubic feet of wastewater = 748 gallons.
